We are currently taking submissions for our Fall/Winter 2019 issue.
Contributors must be 18 years of age or older.
All submissions and inquiries should be sent to our editor, Hydra M. Star, at firstname.lastname@example.org
We are primarily looking for Erotic Horror, but other closely related erotic genres will be considered.
So long as a piece contain nothing that is likely to result in arrest or lawsuit we will give it consideration. Blasphemy, gore, and sex are what we’re all about. With that said, we are not looking for stories and poetry about Hell, the Devil, or Satanists that rely heavily on traditional or mainstream religious dogma, misconceptions about Satanism, or cliches. We are equally not interested in pieces which read like preachy cautionary tales offering warnings against involvement with the paranormal or occult
Stories should be between 500 and 5,000 words. Some wiggle room is given for pieces that fit our theme particularly well.
Poems should be at least 5 lines in length.
An author’s bio of no more than 200 words should be included with all submissions. Bios may be sent in either a separate attached file, included at the end of each submission file, or in the text of the email.
All submissions must be sent via email as either a .doc, .docx, or .rtf file. Absolutely no submissions sent in the text of the email or by any other means or methods will be accepted.
No fancy page or paragraph formatting or fonts, please. This rule applies to poetry as well as fiction.
Multiple submissions are welcome.
Previously published works are welcome, provided the author has retained the proper rights needed to enter into a contract with us.
Simultaneous submissions are discouraged. Once a contract to publish with us is signed, you will not be released from your commitment to have your work included in our publication due to it being accepted elsewhere.
All submissions must be the original works belonging to the person(s) who submit them.
All contributors are required to sign a contract with us, via email, which gives us exclusive rights to the work for six months, from the date of publication. During those six months the work in question should not be re-published, posted online, or otherwise made available to readers or the general public. Exceptions are made in the cases of previously published works. At the end of this six month period, contributors are free to publish or make their work publicly available however they see fit, with the understanding that we, at present, make back issues of Infernal Ink Magazine available indefinitely.
There is no monetary payment for contributors, at this time, but all contributors will receive, via email, a PDF copy of the issue their work appears in. Additionally, all contributors are encouraged to email our editor, Hydra M. Star at email@example.com, with any news or announcements they want included in our Facebook news feed or with a print ad to be run in the magazine. This promotion is completely free to contributors. No crowdfunding campaigns, please.
Infernal Ink Magazine is a biannual magazine focused on publishing extremely dark, sexually charged fiction and poetry. In addition to our violently erotic fictional offerings, we have interviews and other non-fiction content that explore and expose the reader to artists and acts of a diabolically sinful nature. This magazine is not for the faint of heart or prudish.
You may follow us on Facebook for updates and news regarding the magazine and our contributors. For all other information and inquires, see the links and submission guidelines posted below or email our editor, Hydra M. Star, directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
